Enter Fish Monkey, the fishing glove specialist. Recognizing the need for high-performance fishing gloves that fit well and functioned even better, Fish Monkey founder, Tim Mossberg, a hard-core fishing enthusiast himself, has built an extensive line of fishing gloves for all fishermen.
The fact is, every fisherman, from professional to weekend warrior, needs protection from the sun. While fishing shirts and sunglasses that offer such sun protection are the norm, and face guards are catching on, our hands, because they are especially exposed while using a fishing rod, are the last vulnerable part of our bodies we need to protect.
All sun protection, however, is not created equal. Sun protection is a function of two things, the actual weave of the fabric and a fabric treatment that is applied as the garment is being made. The fabrics we use for Fish Monkey gloves feature a much finer weave that better blocks the sun. Yes, this fabric is a bit more expensive but the sun protection is significantly better and well worth the additional cost, especially when one considers that the treatments that others rely on for much of the sun protection in their garments, wears off, especially with washing. Still, we do treat our gloves anyway figuring this treatment can only help. We call this sun protection system LongHaul Life-of-the-Glove Sun Protection which means our gloves will give you the promised sun protection until they are done.
But it’s not just the sun. As any fisherman knows, after a weekend of fishing, our hands can get pretty beat up. Line cuts, fin pricks, tooth gashes, and the general wear and tear experienced while working with gear, can leave you with some telltale marks and annoying pains.
Fish Monkey fishing gloves protect your hands from both sunburn and these everyday cuts and scrapes. But, importantly, they do so without being a hindrance in any way. We call it the Forget About It second-skin fit. Through meticulous ergonomic design and by using state-of-the-art technologies, materials and fabrics, Fish Monkey has made fishing gloves that are so comfortable and fit so well, that you’ll forget you have them on! After all, no protection works if you won’t wear the gloves, right?
Fish Monkey gloves are a tool of the trade when handling big fish!Fish Monkey also offers a third big advantage, an incredibly effective non-slip grip. Every Fish Monkey glove features an appropriate high-performance form of non-slip grip. Whether silicone, rubber, synthetic leather or PVC, we call it Griptanite Non-Slip Grip Technology because it really grips!
A good grip means less hand fatigue when grasping a fishing rod for hours on end. It also means a secure grip on railings, anchor lines, dock posts and more. Grip-ability you’ll come to really appreciate.
That’s what Fish Monkey gloves are all about. We are so certain that you will love any pair of Fish Monkey gloves for the fit and function they provide that we guarantee them.

Love these gloves. Been wearing them ever since I’ve received them, due to the colder mornings and they’re awesome. They’ve kept my hands nice and warm. So far it hasn’t been anywhere below freezing yet so we’ll see when January hits, but I expect them to do the job. Awesome glove. They do run big so get a size smaller if you’re unsure. I got the small and they fit perfectly. Recommend 100%
I haven’t been able to use them yet, the weather has been unseasonably warm. Colder weather is on the way quickly. I’m looking forward to trying them out.
Was very pleased with the gloves and how they fit. Has not been cold enough to put to good use yet but can see these being the perfect hole hopping gloves.
Very nice
They work good keep my hands warm deer and duck hunting
WOOLY HEAD Ribbed Knit Wool Beanie (New Fall 24)
Gloves are warm and comfortable, fit is a little snug wish I would have ordered xxl instead of xl, I think they will stretch a bit!!! I like them !!!
I got two sets I got the hunting ones which are very warm from someone that's had frostnip in the service on my fingers they keep my fingers pretty well warm in the cold temperatures here in New York the other pair I haven't worn
When are the Wooly mittens hoing to be back in stock ??
Very comfortable fit perfect. Fingers are not to long
Wooly long gloves
These are my favorite.
Great hat
I bought these not for fishing at all but for a more extreme use, i drive aurora photography tours in Alaska and I need a glove that allows me a clean finger for working camera buttons, but otherwise keeps my hands toasty. I havent hit the hardest part of winter (-20/30F) but spent a solid 3 hours at 15F, running a camera that surely cooled to 15 degrees itself, and never even needed to put the mitten flap up yet. I imagine I’ll add a hand warmer come the harshest part of winter but these are nearly perfect. If you guys made a trigger finger mitt I’d be your first customer.

Best gloves in the fishing industry whether you’re protecting your hands from being sunburned or when lipping a fish. These Stubby gloves have your back day in and day out. I never leave my home without them when hitting the water. Also the design makes them extremely comfortable. Get you a pair of these will be glad you did.
more comfortable than when you pair a pair of fingerless Wooly gloves with pocket hand warmers. Just like that other Wooly (the Wooly Bugger) it's a winner, winner!
I have worn out 4 pairs of Fish Monkey gloves, they are my favorite. I have not tried the clearance pair, as I have a the Chiller Thriller tournament on the 26th I will try them out.
These gloves are comfortable and dry quickly. They do a great job of protecting your hands from the sun and the fish. They make it easier to grab the live bait without it slipping away. I 10 out of 10 recommend
